Zurdo Ramirez wasted no time in making sure that the light heavyweight division takes notice after his performance against Dominic Boesel.

Everyone knows I want Bivol. He needs to stop running and sign the contract. I’m coming for you and that belt. I deserve that fight. I think I can beat him since I’m bigger, stronger and smarter.” - Zurdo Ramirez

Zurdo displayed his tactile ferocity against Dominic Boesel at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. Zurdo was a man on a mission, after Canelo's recent lost, Zurdo took this opportunity to showcase his ability to be the new face for Mexican fans. Zurdo took care of business easily on Saturday as he came out on top still being undefeated with a record of 44 wins via 30 KOs. An impressive record that demonstrates championship caliber.

Ramirez has knocked out his last 4 opponents and hopes to do the same against Bivol. After his performance on Boesel with a record 32-3, it can be possible. Zurdo is younger, and bigger. Although one can argue about Bivol being better than Zurdo. Take away Bivol win over Canelo, and one will see that Dmitry's career record doesn't differ much from Zurdo. Bivol would be smaller fighter against a strong come forward body punching Zurdo. A dangerous body puncher that Boesel is familiar with. Zurdo displayed his attacks to body on Boesel as Zurdo's thunderous body punches could be heard throughout the Toyota Arena. Body shots that stopped Boesel in round 4. “I thought I would hit him more with my jab. I came confident to this fight. He got me in the liver with the first punch. I couldn’t do much when I got hit with the body shot.” - Dominic Boesel

Body shots that one must wonder if Bivol can handle from the boxing champion of Sinaloa, Mexico. Only time will tell, as the boxing world awaits on Canelo's decision to make a rematch against Bivol. Regardless, if Canelo wins or loses against Bivol, Zurdo will be ready to take on either Canelo or Bivol in a match that will guarantee fireworks.

Ramirez recent performances shows that he is a threat to deal with in the light heavyweight division. Zurdo is entering his prime and is ready to take on the likes of every fighter out there. His unique ability to use his size and strength to dictate the pace of the fight makes Zurdo a challenge for anyone. Zurdo Ramirez has a calm demeanor in being patient in landing his methodical punches until his opponents' breakdown. A patient demeanor that will be practiced until he punishes his next opponent.
